Charity status gained for Refugees Rock

A momentous day for Refugees Rock!

After more than three years and 500 people sharing the joy of climbing in one of our groups, we have officially become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).

Getting registered means we can apply for funding, benefit from charitable status and operate as an independent organisation.

It also means that we benefit from having a board of Trustees to help make sure we’re doing the very best job of creating safe, fun, welcoming climbing communities for people seeking sanctuary.

Getting to this point feels like a major achievement. Thank you to our new Trustees, our founding partners, our groups across the UK and everyone who has supported the journey so far.
